you were the one who taught me how to play the saxophone
without you, i wouldnt know how i would survive in the band
despite my slackiness, you still teach me patiently
i can still remember 'ADAGIO'

i couldnt even play the few slow bars of it
but you still keep teaching me
the tempo; the fingerings; the notes
everything
when i first joined band
i dont even know how to read notes and stuffs
from a sport to such an organized and orderly cca
i really changed.
when i first play the saxophone
i remember how i would sit outside the bandroom
and you will teach me
and how i was like a retard or something
couldnt even make a single sound out of that heavy instrument
all the scoldings; pumpings
will always be there
in my mind
how you trained me and khidhir
how we think that you were just simply ridiculous
wanting us to play loud and that you will be able to hear us at the end of the canteen
how we used to scold you behind your back

you should go stop khidhir from hurling vulgarities
especially at you
now
thinking back at those memories
i think it is stupid of me to scold you
when you did that to help us
you have faith in us that we can do it
then i should believe in myself and khidhir that we can do it
you shall come back two years later to visit the new band room
and to also rejoice that we are as good as you are now
and also maybe leaders of the band
if we can make it lah
i promise you that i will work hard when you're away
(and will sinyi really come back to torture us? you say until she so scary like that. LOL)
